BRIDGE OF LOVE 2014 - COUNTRY MUSIC ARTIST LINE-UP - CHRIS E THOMAS

CHRIS E THOMAS

Chris E Thomas
In 2012 Chris released her debut, the co-produced and co-written album 'Monkey Off My Back' at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, achieving one 2013 Golden Guitar Finalist position and four Finalist nominations in four categories at the 2012 Music Oz Awards.

Chris has been known to the industry and fans alike as a powerhouse performer for many years and outside her studio and stagework she is associated with The Jimmy Little Foundation's  'Good Tucker' programme.

She regularly serves our Australian troops overseas with Forces Entertainment recently returning from Egypt 2013 and was the first female performer on the front line in Mirawai, Afghanistan in 2012.

Her voice has served on many recordings from your average radio and TV commercials, to backing or lead vocals on albums and live DVD's for Australia's best.

Brian Cadd rates her amongst the best he's encountered in his time saying, "Her power and passion are what music should be all about."

Recenty supporting Rick Astley on his Australian tour Rick 'tweeted': "Check her out. Real voice, real songs, the real deal."

The Bridge of Love Project is an official Australian awareness-raising endeavour for the 20th Anniversary International Year of the Family, an initiative of the United Nations. Australia celebrates National Families Week 15-21 May 2014. The UN-designated theme for this year's international campaign is: 'Stronger Families, Stronger Communities'.

All proceeds from the Bridge of Love Project are directed towards Barnardos Australia for their continuing work with vulnerable children and young people in our communities.
